The Ziptac Micro Ferro Rod is a compact fire starting tool that packs a big punch. These ferro rods produce sparks that burn at up to 1300℃ and each rod will last up to 1000 strikes. These rods come as bare ferro rods with no handle or striker, they can be struck with any 90º spine made from carbon steel, stainless steel, tungsten or ceramic. You can keep them as is, add a DIY handle or drill a small hole to attach a keyring or lanyard.
